Designing for today's digital age requires constant discovery of user needs and pain points. Hoping to create an increasingly simple, transparent and engaging experience, the design team in UOB wants to identify the gaps for improvement in their TMRW mobile-only banking app through usability testing.
To accelerate the discovery of pain points during the testings, the prototype has to mimic the actual app experience as much as possible. This is essential so that users can focus on the jobs to be done without being distracted by the limitations of the prototype. Using the prototype as a tool was also a cost effective way of running the usability tests due to its lower cost of building and the ability to accommodate a fast turnaround time. Since usability tests are usually part of design sprints in validating the designs, it is useful that the prototype can incorporate the latest designs in a timely manner.
I made a highly functional prototype that can handle conditional logic, dynamic content, animations, math functions and data-driven interactions in AxureRP.
